CFHS Photography Field Trip
On Thursday, April 28th, the students of Digital photography, film photography and Port Prep class took a photography based field trip around multiple spots in northeast Ohio. The group on bus B was initially taken to the junkyard. Here they were able to take pictures with and move around the items that they found. Following the junkyard the group went to Lakeview Cemetery, a cemetery with a beautiful view of trees and greenery as well as some small ponds that were fantastic to take pictures of and look at. After about an hour of being at the Lakeview Cemetery, all students went to little Italy to not only take photos, but to enjoy the amazing cuisine that the area has to offer, including their bakeries as well as their restaurants. One student, Sam Holtz, had this to say when asked about her little Italy experience, "the food there was exceptional and there was very nice service". Another student, Evan Johnson, when asked about his favorite part of the trip responded, "I enjoyed looking at the monuments at the cemetery, they were all so interesting to take photos of". After the lunch in little Italy, the students headed to the Rockefeller Greenhouse where they were able to photograph a multitude of different plants and different types of ecosystems. Overall, the field trip was a major success and the students had an amazing time.
